Does your Alpha CB boiler need a service? An annual boiler service is recommended by Gas Safe. Every Alpha CB boiler serviced by Heat Solutions is fully stripped and drained down for thorough maintenance and comes with a minimum 22 point safety and performance check.
The Alpha CB range of combination boilers are now obsolete, however your old boiler can still be repaired! Most parts are still readily available and we carry most of the main components as stock. If you have been told your boiler needs to be replaced and you are not sure then please call us!

Common problems with the CB range
Boiler loosing pressure.
No hot water.
Low pressure warning regardless of how much pressure is in the boiler (A and B lights flashing on and off alternately).
Ignition faults including the flue or fan fault – (A & B lights flashing on and off at the same time).

“My Alpha Boiler failed to ignite several weeks ago. I found it very difficult to get a Gas Engineer to come round and take a look at it. One chap, without even seeing the boiler, informed me that I’d done very well to get 8 or 9 years out of it and should replace it with another model for peace of mind. Clearly this was not what I wanted to hear. I found Heat Solutions number on line and gave Richard a call. He came round the same day, identified the problem almost immediately (sensor) rectified it and also serviced the boiler at a very reasonable cost. Recognising my rather luddite understanding of the issue, Richard talked me through the job, demonstrating how the boiler fired with the old and replacement part. The boiler has since worked perfectly. Richard got in touch a week or so later to ensure everything was in order. In summary, I received and excellent and very timely service.
